About the Role:

As our AR Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our Accounting and Sales Operations teams, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes. You’ll help support our West Coast customer base and work directly with internal teams and clients to maintain financial accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy through a 3-way match process
  • Apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) accurately to customer accounts
  • Follow up on past-due invoices and negotiate payment plans
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support credit checks and recommend credit limits as needed
  • Prepare AR aging reports and identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, and customers
  • Maintain organized, accurate documentation and support internal compliance standards

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping or AR experience
  • AA/ 4-year degree preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Great Plains, Business Central, or Epicor preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience working in or with a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
