Accounts Receivable Specialist

Join our client's close-knit team of five in the accounting department, where you will be an integral part of the finance operations. The office environment is casual yet professional-they offer a supportive atmosphere where your contributions will be valued.

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the AR department:

• Cash Receipts / Cash Applications - apply daily check and ACH payments received
• Processing credit memos and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy
• Address customer questions regarding invoices and accounts
• Backup for accounts payable and assisting with various tasks and special projects, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Critical thinking skills and sound decision-making abilities
• Proactive in asking questions to ensure correct task completion
• Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to work independently
