Company: Leading Edge Auto Body Position: Parts Manager Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The Parts Manager oversees all parts operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective parts procurement and inventory management. They work closely with technicians, vendors, and other departments to maintain seamless workflow in the shop. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels of parts and supplies. Order, receive, and inspect all incoming parts for accuracy and quality. Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts. Build and maintain relationships with vendors for pricing, availability, and timely delivery. Track and report on parts usage, inventory turnover, and loss prevention. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all parts. Maintain accurate records in parts management software. Train and supervise parts department staff, if applicable. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts. Qualifications 3+ years experience in auto body or dealership parts management. Strong understanding of automotive parts and systems. Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., CCC, Mitchell, or similar). Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
