STS Technical Services is hiring Avionics Technicians in Waterford, Michigan to support corporate aircraft operations. Two experience levels are available, offering real opportunities for growth and advancement in a fast-paced aviation environment. Prior corporate avionics experience is preferred. Qualifications Level 1: 1 year of related work experience OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics Level 2: 2 years of experience in the avionics or electrical field OR 2 years of accredited schooling plus 1 year of related experience A&P license preferred Key Responsibilities Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics components and aircraft systems per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals Ensure high-quality, defect-free installations and timely repairs Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications Operate test equipment and conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate system performance and reliability Document all work accurately and ensure compliance with inspection requirements Develop and demonstrate technical skills in wiring, soldering, splicing, and system repairs Adapt to schedule changes and manage time effectively Level 2: Read and interpret schematics, perform wire runs and terminations independently, and communicate with external technical operations or engineering teams as needed Preferred Experience Corporate aviation avionics background is highly desirable Why Join Us Opportunities to advance from Level 1 to Level 2 Hands-on experience with corporate aircraft systems Work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with growth potential About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is the staffing arm of STS Aviation Group.
