•Oracle 4+ years/PLSQL
•Azure/AWS/GCP 1+ years (Azure Preferred)
•NoSQL 1-3 years (CosmosDB)
•Java 1-3 years (Nice to have)
•Microservice/API Programing helpful.
•GraphQL (Nice to have)
•Observability (Dynatrace, Open Telemetry, AppInsights, etc. Nice to have)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Member with 7 to 9 years of experience in Data warehousing, DB Performance Optimization, PL/SQL, DB - SQL & No SQL, Azure SQL DB, Azure Database, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Store. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model and contribute to optimizing our database performance and managing data warehousing solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our data systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
- Oversee the optimization of database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Provide expertise in PL/SQL to develop and maintain complex database queries and procedures.
- Manage both SQL and No SQL databases to ensure data integrity and security.
- Utilize Azure SQL DB and Azure Database to manage and scale database solutions in the cloud.
- Implement and manage Azure Databricks for advanced analytics and data processing.
- Oversee the use of Azure Data Lake Store for large-scale data storage and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all data warehousing and database solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on database and data warehousing best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data solutions.
- Document all processes and procedures related to database and data warehousing management for future reference.
Qualifications:
-Must have extensive experience in Datawarehousing and DB Performance Optimization.
- Should possess strong skills in PL/SQL and managing both SQL and No SQL databases.
- Must be proficient in using Azure SQL DB, Azure Database, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Store.
- Should have a solid understanding of cloud-based database solutions and their management.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Must be proactive in identifying and resolving database performance issues.
- Should be able to document processes clearly and thoroughly for future reference.
- Must stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of data management.
- Should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Should have excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be committed to continuous learning and improvement in the field of data management.
