AtWork Staffing is seeking Bank Teller & Operations Assistants to support financial operations in the San Gabriel Valley area (Different bank locations available). The role requires strong computer skills, communication, and interpersonal abilities, both written and oral. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, wire transfers, payments, checks, cash management, and recordkeeping, allowing for the effortless processes. Candidates with additional experiences in Associate Banking, Loan Processing, or Investment Banking Analysis will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, wire transfers, and check processing.
• Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer daily, ensuring accurate reporting and secure handling of funds.
• Count, prepare, and process cash shipments while following strict security procedures.
• Provide high-level customer service, addressing inquires and resolving concerns professionally.
• Perform recordkeeping and maintain accurate documentation of transactions and financial reports.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, promoting banking products and services.
• Support back-office functions such as account verification, compliance checks, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments, including loan officers and financial analysts, to assist with operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in debits and credits, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
• Experience with loan origination processes is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash management skills to handle transactions accurately.
• Background in financial sales is advantageous for promoting job opportunities effectively.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management tools to track interactions with candidates.
• Competence in using financial software for recordkeeping and reporting purposes.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all applicants.
• Sales experience is a plus, particularly in engaging potential candidates effectively.
• Ability to operate cash registers or similar systems as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic math skills, including debits and credits
• Experience in financial sales and loan origination
• Familiarity with financial software and retail math
• Ability to build customer relationships and upsell services
• Computer skills for efficient operations and reporting
