D'Amico Hospitality is hiring Bartenders for our Off Premise Catering Team . This role requires that you are able to commute to a variety of different venues throughout the Metro area. As well, working weekends and evenings until 1am-2am.

The Bartender is responsible for delivering courteous and efficient beverage service to guests at catered events, ensuring alignment with D’Amico Hospitality standards and adherence to Company policies and legal regulations governing alcohol service. This entails verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving drinks according to guest preferences and specifications, processing payments, and accurately recording sales transactions. By operating in a manner that reflects D’Amico Hospitality’s commitment to excellence in guest satisfaction and public acclaim, the Bartender serves as the primary point of contact and representative for D’Amico with guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Demonstrate genuine concern for the success of each event and prioritize efforts accordingly.
  2. Efficiently take drink orders from guests and wait staff, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and pouring policies.
  3. Verify the identification and age of customers in compliance with legal requirements.
  4. Accurately tally or ring-in drink prices, collect payments, and provide change with meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Maintain integrity and accuracy when managing reconciliation sheets and adhere to proper cash handling procedures.
  6. Prepare garnishes for drinks, ensuring both taste and presentation meet guest expectations.
  7. Wash and sterilize glassware as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
  8. Thoroughly clean and sanitize the bar area after catered events, following designated closing procedures.
  9. Attend training sessions and consistently adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and legal regulations governing the safe service of alcohol.
  10. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to discontinue alcohol service to guests when necessary.
  11. Promptly alert the Head Bartender, Event Supervisor, or Banquet Manager of any potential issues or concerns.
  12. Collaborate effectively with service staff to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
  13. Take pride in maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  14. Exercise cost-consciousness in all aspects of work.
  15. Diligently prioritize safety, promptly reporting any safety concerns to a manager.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the event and venue operations.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to all staff and guests, most of whom speak English.
  2. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  3. Must have manual hand and finger dexterity for working as a Bartender.
  4. Must have math aptitude and the ability to analyze data in order to handle financial reporting and cash handling duties.
  5. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to twelve hours in length.
  6. Must be able to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
  7. Must have the ability to consistently arrive at work for all scheduled shifts as assigned.
  8. Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
