Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Location: Southlake, Texas (hybrid mainly virtual)
Schedule: 12 to 15 hours per week, flexible schedule in coordination with management.
Reports to: General Manager / Senior Accountant
Position Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to support the accounting department with basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry. A degree or prior formal experience is not required, though technical training or accounting courses are a plus. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in the field of accounting while contributing to a dynamic and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions in QuickBooks.
Categorize income, expenses, and perform bank reconciliations.
Organize and file supporting documents (physical and digital).
Review invoices and maintain orderly backup documentation.
Assist in preparing preliminary financial reports.
Keep client accounting records updated and accurate.
Minimum Requirements:
Basic knowledge of general accounting principles.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Preferably some exposure to QuickBooks.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Technical certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
Any prior experience, including internships or informal roles.
