The Driver will operate a small cube truck or other ancillary equipment on assigned route to service customers by safely delivering and removing residential roll-out carts to old and new customers within productivity guidelines established by management. Key Responsibilities include driving a pickup truck with trailer or ancillary equipment along designated routes to deliver, swap, or retrieve carts; delivering carts to residential locations at curbside or back door; inspecting carts and evaluating customer sites to ensure locations are safe for proper servicing per Company standards and service agreements; performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submitting vehicle condition reports; loading and unloading carts manually or by using a forklift; interacting courteously with customers and responding to requests; cleaning loose trash off truck and around customer sites; maintaining and submitting logbooks and reports; maneuvering truck in tight spaces; using key maps and GPS; following safe operating practices and company safety regulations; and performing other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED desired, ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), satisfactory driving record, ability to meet safety sensitive function criteria, and ability to safely drive and operate equipment. The role demands physical abilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and working in loud and outdoor environments with exposure to various weather conditions and hazards.
