Practice Details:Case Volume: 3,700 cases annually
Case Types: General orthopedic and joint replacement surgeries
Team Model:
Daily coverage: 3 CRNAs and 1 Anesthesiologist (MD), Monday-Friday
MD responsibilities: Pre-op evaluations, board running, supervision, and may take a room as needed. When in a room, the surgeon will act as the CRNA supervisor
CRNAs will be working independently in rooms
Schedule:
No call
No weekends
Documentation: Paper charting (no EMR)
Procedures Required: Proficient in blocks, epidurals, and spinals
