About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission-focused community. The CFO will be a key strategic partner, responsible for the financial health and operations of the organization. Additionally, the CFO will be involved in long-term financial planning, and will have the opportunity to shape the future of the organization through innovative and creative problem-solving. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for an Accounting degree or CPA, and 5-10 years' of senior-level experience in financial planning and management. Experience in an independent school or non-profit setting is preferred. The role requires a proven track record in team management, organizational change, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at problem-solving, and have a compassionate approach to interacting with the school community. Responsibilities also include overseeing the financial aid system, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
