Superintendent – Commercial Construction | $125K–$150K+ | Huntsville, AL

A leading commercial construction firm with a strong reputation across the Southeast is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team in Huntsville, Alabama . This is a key field leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day field operations on large-scale commercial projects ranging from $20 million to $50 million. This individual will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety, schedule, and quality standards, while maintaining strong communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all field operations, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and daily site supervision.
• Ensure jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address potential delays or issues.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, and Architects to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor field teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular site meetings and document progress reports.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and enforce project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction .
• Proven experience managing projects in the $20–$50 million range .
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and teams.
• In-depth understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and project excellence.
• Proficiency with construction management software and digital documentation tools.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $125,000–$150,000 (based on experience)
• Bonuses: Annual performance-based bonuses
