Job Description:
Direct Counsel is seeking a skilled and dynamic Consumer Class Action/Privacy Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded law firm’s litigation practice in Los Angeles . With an expected increase in class action and privacy litigation matters, this is an excellent opportunity to take on significant litigation work and collaborate with top-tier attorneys in a fast-paced and evolving legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support consumer class action and privacy litigation matters.
• Participate in federal and state court proceedings and arbitrations.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive legal briefs.
• Oversee discovery processes, especially in class action and mass arbitration contexts.
• Work closely with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategies.
• Adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of class action, mass arbitration, and privacy law.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of relevant litigation experience, with a focus on class action and/or mass arbitration.
• Experience in consumer class action litigation preferred; privacy litigation experience is a major plus.
• Strong background in federal and state court proceedings.
• Clerkship experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently or under supervision.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and brief-drafting skills.
• Some discovery experience, particularly in class action litigation.
• Admission to practice law in California .

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $225,000 – $290,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
• Annual bonus eligibility.
