Job Description

Corporate Legal Assistant – Support two seasoned partners who have worked together since law school (20+ years!). This role is open due to retirement—a rare chance to join a well-established team. Must have transactional experience in real estate, energy, M&A, and private equity and impeccable communication skills.

HYBRID - 1-day work from home/4 days work in the office - 40-hour work week

Duties will include a combination of legal support and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding client service through email, telephone, and in-person communications with clients. Proofread and review all written work, including correspondence, memos, and transaction documents for content, context, and typos.
  • Prepare documents for client review and signature.
  • Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
  • Assist attorneys with compliance with client billing and timekeeping requirements.
  • Review and edit client bills to ensure conformance with client billing requirements.
  • Manage conflict checks, new client matter openings, and engagement and waiver letters.
  • Manage attorneys’ travel portfolios, including making travel arrangements, maintaining travel profiles, and calendar travel.
  • Maintain attorneys’ bar and professional memberships.
  • Handle expense reimbursements.
