LHH is working with a food importer in Hutchins, TX that is seeking a Customs Broker for Direct Hire.
This hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) offers a competitive salary range of $73K–$82K , with flexibility up to $88K for highly experienced candidates, plus a 3% bonus target . They may also be open to a relocation candidate for an experienced, licensed candidate. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Logistics and focuses on ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations, managing import/export documentation, and leading audit and duty drawback initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations
Classify products using HTS codes and determine applicable tariffs
Manage import/export documentation and internal controls
Lead customs audits and duty drawback initiatives
File Port Entry Amendments (PEA) and assist with customs filings
Collaborate with internal teams to support product compliance
Minimum 3 years of experience in customs compliance or import/export operations
Need experience with Asian markets
Strong knowledge of HTS classification and trade regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Licensed U.S. Customs Broker preferred
Oracle experience is a plus
