Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Onsite Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting information, maintaining organized records, and supporting the Accounts Payable department with administrative tasks. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute your precision and organizational skills to a dynamic environment. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter Accounts Payable data into the designated software platform with speed and accuracy.
  • Assist in organizing and creating paper files for Accounts Payable records.
  • Navigate internal systems effectively to complete assigned tasks.
  • Utilize 10-key typing skills to ensure efficient data entry.
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Scan and digitize documents for record-keeping purposes.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the department.
  • Ensure all data is entered correctly and verify for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and project goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with 10-key typing skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data organization and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize organizational systems efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills for maintaining paper and digital records.
  • Capable of scanning and digitizing documents as needed.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team environment.
