Director of Estates and Yachts
Location: Greater Boston Area with travel to additional residences.
A multigenerational family is seeking an experienced and polished Director of Residences and Yachts to oversee the seamless operation of their multiple residences and private yacht. This hands-on leadership role combines estate management with luxury lifestyle oversight, ensuring all properties and vessels operate smoothly, safely, and to the highest standard of hospitality. The Director will lead and mentor household teams, manage vendors and contractors, oversee maintenance and infrastructure, and support family travel logistics. Responsibilities include readiness for family and guests, seasonal property transitions, staff training, and coordination of private events, while acting as the trusted point of contact for all residential and yachting matters.
The ideal candidate will bring 7-10+ years of senior-level experience in estate or yacht management, a deep understanding of high-touch service environments, and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the professionalism to manage complex household operations with discretion. Prior experience with luxury residences, yachts, construction oversight, and team leadership is essential.
