**Job Description:**
EDM Machine Operator to join our team on a 4-month contract-to-hire basis. As an EDM Machine Operator, youll be responsible for operating and maintaining electrical discharge machines in our production facility.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Operate and monitor the EDM machine to ensure precise manufacturing of parts.
Perform electrode preparation, inspection of parts, and machine maintenance.
Load and unload parts, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
Understand and utilize basic computer skills for machine operation.
Perform physical tasks such as standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Follow safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe or composite-toe shoes.
**Requirements:**
Prior machine operating experience is required.
Must need birth certificate and a high school diploma.
Ability to handle basic maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM equipment.
Available to start immediately, with orientations and training every Monday.
**Contract Details:**
This position is a 4-month contract-to-hire role, with potential for permanent hire.
