Email Marketing Specialist (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) - 6 month contract

Location: Orlando, FL 32821 (Hybrid M-W In Office, Th/F Remote)
Pay: $47.00/hr
Schedule: M - F 8:00a-5:00p
Position Overview:
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving customer engagement and achieving business goals through strategic and effective email marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of email programs, from planning and execution to optimization and reporting. This is a hybrid role based in the client's Orlando office, requiring in-office presence Monday through Wednesday, with the flexibility to work from home on Thursdays and Fridays.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Results Through End-to-End Campaign Management (45%): Own the planning, execution, and optimization of impactful email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate deployment.
- Collaborate for Success (15%): Partner closely with the broader digital marketing team and key stakeholders to develop and maintain a cohesive email calendar, effectively managing expectations and fostering strong working relationships.
- Champion Testing and Optimization (15%): Proactively implement A/B testing and other optimization strategies. Analyze campaign performance data and industry best practices to identify actionable insights and provide clear recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Innovate and Streamline (15%): Collaborate with the technical email team to explore and implement innovative technical capabilities within our email platform, contributing to more efficient processes and enhanced campaign performance.
- Communicate Impact (10%): Develop and deliver compelling presentations that showcase email marketing successes, key learnings, and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools.
- Salesforce certifications.

- Email Platform Expertise: Proven experience working within email marketing platforms; strong preference for experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Optimization Mindset: Solid understanding of email testing methodologies (A/B, multivariate) and optimization techniques to improve engagement and conversions.

Technical Skills:
- Email Coding Fundamentals: Solid understanding of HTML and CSS specifically for email development and rendering.
- Platform Versatility: Experience with various email marketing platforms such as Responsys, Silverpop, Message Gears, and SendGrid is highly valued.
- Responsive Design Expertise: Proven experience working with mobile-first and responsive email design principles and strategies.
- Troubleshooting Proficiency: Strong ability to troubleshoot email code to ensure consistent and accurate rendering across different email clients and devices.
- Marketing Tagging & Tracking (Preferred): Experience with marketing tagging and tracking platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics.
- Third-Party Tool Proficiency (Preferred): Experience utilizing third-party email tools like Litmus, Sparkpost, and MovableInk to enhance email effectiveness.
- Personalization Power: Advanced proficiency in AmpScript or a similar personalization language to create dynamic and engaging email content.
- SQL Fundamentals (A Plus): Basic understanding of SQL for data segmentation and analysis is a plus.
- Compliance Champion: Deep understanding of email marketing compliance principles, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant laws and best practices.
