Your Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting care as required by policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate patient needs, ensuring a responsive and tailored approach to care.
• Exercise sound nursing judgment in management decisions and care delivery.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program conferring a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• Previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with 1-3 years preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving tools.
