Overview Job Title: ETL Tester (Database & Tosca Automation) Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid as required) Employment Type: W2 Only Visa Eligibility: US Citizen, Green Card, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, TN Visa Experience Level: Minimum 5+ years About The Role We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester with a strong background in database testing, ETL processes, and Tosca automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automating ETL and database testing workflows, ensuring data integrity, and improving testing efficiency within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Conduct database testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop and maintain Tosca automation scripts for ETL and database testing. Collaborate with development, data engineering, and QA teams to understand requirements and test strategies. Troubleshoot data and workflow issues, document defects, and drive resolution. Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and project timelines. Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in ETL testing and database testing. Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and test case creation. Hands-on experience with Tosca automation and other ETL/database automation tools. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data flows, and ETL tools. Proven ability to design, develop, and execute automated tests for ETL processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile or similar fast-paced environments. Preferred Skills Familiarity with cloud-based ETL solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure). Exposure to performance and regression testing for data pipelines.
