We are seeking a passionate and experienced Golf Instructor to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that combines expert golf instruction with the duties of a customer-focused Team Member at our state-of-the-art indoor golf facility and sports bar in Hermitage.

As a Golf Instructor / Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing professional golf lessons, delivering exceptional customer experiences, serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our golf simulators. Responsibilities

Golf Instruction :

• Conduct private and group golf lessons for patrons of all ages and skill levels using our advanced simulator technology.
• Assist in organizing and running golf leagues, clinics, and tournaments.
• Act as the resident golf expert, engaging with customers and offering tips to enhance their experience.

Customer Service :

• Greet and check-in patrons for virtual golf simulators.
• Ensure overall customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any issues promptly.

Food and Beverage Service :

• Prepare a variety of drinks, including alcoholic beverages and cocktails.
• Basic food prep and garnishing.
• Serve food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages.
• Manage orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.

Facility & Operational Support :

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, including simulators, dining areas, and restrooms.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting issues with golf simulators.
• Perform janitorial duties such as mopping, cleaning surfaces, and deep cleaning.
• Oversee golf simulators and manage simulator bay tee time scheduling.
• Assist with events and parties hosted at the facility.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.

Requirements

• Age: Preferred 21+, but must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol (will need to have or get a server's permit).
• Experience:
  
   
  • Must have demonstrable golf instruction experience (e.g., teaching professional, assistant pro, collegiate golf experience, or similar).
•  
  • PGA Apprentice or Member is a strong plus, but not required.
•  
  • Previous experience in customer service or food and beverage is highly preferred.
•  
• Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (peak times for lessons and events).
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the facility as needed.
• Golf Knowledge: Must have an expert-level understanding of golf (rules, swing mechanics, etiquette).

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: Expected pay: $18-$35+/hr (hourly + tip-share program + lesson/clinic income). The more lessons you give, the more money you make.
