04. The Role: Graphic Designer

We're seeking a talented designer to join our creative team and help us continue delivering exceptional work for our diverse client base. 

Responsibilities

• Create compelling web designs and front-end layouts using XD or Figma
• Develop print materials including mailers, brochures, and booklets
• Produce illustrations and brand identity elements
• Collaborate with account managers, developers, and other team members
• Ensure all designs meet client specifications and brand guidelines
• Maintain project timelines and communicate progress effectively

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience at a marketing agency or similar environment
• Recent graduates considered if they have relevant student design experience and an outstanding portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience with XD and/or Figma
• Strong understanding of both print and digital design principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects
• Portfolio demonstrating versatility and creativity

Initial Interview : An informal screening call with our Brand Manager (come as you are!)

Team Interview : A virtual meeting with members of our leadership team

Test Project : Qualified candidates will complete a paid test project

Decision : Final hiring decision based on skills, culture fit, and test project results

Position : Open until filled

Target Start Date : Position to be filled by the end of May 2025

Work Arrangement :

• Fully remote option available
• In-person option at our Downs, KS office
• Remote employees must be willing to travel to our office in Downs, KS at least 1 a year 
• Occasional business travel may be required (all accommodations provided by Brush Art)

Employment Option :

• Contract work with future potential for salaried position with benefits
• Pay: $30-$40/hour based on experience 
• Minimum 30 hours per week
