SEEKING A QUALIFIED HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL MECHANIC TO BE EMPLOYED AS A SHOP TECH FOR A FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR COMPANY. OUR SHOP SPECIALIZES IN DEDICATED FLEET MAINTENANCE, WITH A FOCUS ON THE CAR HAULING INDUSTRY. ABOVE & BEYOND FLEET MAINTENANCE, WE ARE TOOLED & EQUIPPED TO HANDLE ALL THE ASPECTS OF THE HEAVY-DUTY REPAIR INDUSTRY. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE IS ONLY SUPERSEDED BY A HARD WORK ETHIC & THE ENTHUSIASM TO STRIVE FOR QUALITY PERFORMANCE & PROFESSIONALISM. WE PAY COMPETITIVELY & AVERAGE 50 HOURS A WEEK WITH OVERTIME AFTER 40 HOURS.
MUST BE CAPABLE TO PROFESSIONALY PERFORM TASKS RELATED TO THE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE OF HEAVY-DUTY EQUIPMENT. THESE TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
o AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS / MAINTENANCE
o DISC & SHOE BRAKE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
o TRANSMISSION & CLUTCH MAINTENANCE / REPLACEMENT
o SUSPENSION COMPONENT MAINTENANCE / REPLACEMENT
o TIRE & WHEEL MAINTENANCE
o AIR CONDITIONING DIAGNOSTICS / MAINTENANCE
o ELECTRICAL & LIGHTING DIAGNOSTICS / MAINTENANCE
