Internship, Data Analytics & Test Engineer, Cell Engineering (Summer 2025) This position is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the entire Summer term (i.e. through August 2025) or into Fall 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. What You’ll Do Qualified applicants may be reviewed by one or more of the following teams: Assembly Technical Program Manager: Work with engineers and managers to develop timelines, track risks, progress, and provide outputs for cross-functional teams. Technical Product Manager: Help define software features, integrate them on the manufacturing line, and solve problems outside the scope of software developers. Technical Program Management: Lead manufacturing ramp and tool activity coordination, support new product introduction changes/trials in production lines. Cell Materials Manufacturing Technical Program Management: Analyze product metrics, business cases, and schedules for large scale implementation. Battery Minerals & Metals, Project Engineer: Coordinate between various groups within and outside of Tesla. Project Management Administration: Contribute to coordinating multiple manufacturing projects in Ontario. Automation Engineering Technical Project Management: Execute organizational projects from concept and launch through the project lifecycle. Advanced Automation Technical Project Management: Manage technical projects from concept and launch through mass production. Technical Project Management: Execute organizational projects within the Tesla in-house 4680 battery cell manufacturing program. Cell Manufacturing Technical Project Management: Drive projects to expand throughput through continuous improvement projects and new capacity installations. Formation Equipment Technical Program Manager: Manage technical projects from concept to mass production. What You’ll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in an Engineering program such as Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field. Strong communication and documentation skills. Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to leverage this understanding to solve technical problems.
