Our client, an Am Law 100 firm , is seeking a motivated associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Houston office .

• Handling TROs, temporary injunctions, trade secret misappropriation, and noncompete litigation .
• Exposure to wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff employment litigation .
• Strong legal writing skills , with experience in discovery, motion practice, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings .
• Preferred experience in trial preparation (state and federal courts) and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations .

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated client relationship management and business development potential .
• Exceptional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collegial environment .
• Excellent academic credentials required.
• To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Texas Bar.
