As a Lead Analyst, Investor Relations (IR), you will be a key member of the IR team. You will be integral to developing and managing relationships with investors and the sell-side analyst community and contribute to the firm’s messaging of its strategy. What you’ll do on a typical day: Research, analyze, and provide insights on appropriate investor targets Monitor and record investor engagements and produce weekly reporting to senior-level management Develop, update, and maintain internal Investor Relations database Monitor and analyze sell-side research reports, provide insights, and maintain a detailed database of consensus estimates Compile and maintain company and peer benchmarking analysis of valuation, financial, and operational metrics Conduct targeted research by analyzing and summarizing financial as well as operational information about our industry, company, and competitors Coordinate with external and internal participants on logistics for investor conferences, meetings, and other related events Prepare materials for meetings and presentations Provide analytical, organizational, and logistical assistance for investor activities and quarterly earnings calls Support and contribute to the development of quarterly and yearly reports for shareholders Observe live communication with key institutional investors and sell-side analysts What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 4 years of related industry experience in investor relations, equity research, or investment banking Experience with financial markets (accounting and finance) from applied or academic learnings Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal; strong presentation skills Exceptional learning agility and ability to process and synthesize information quickly A dedication to maintaining strict confidentiality surrounding company materials and information It’d be great if you also have: Bachelor’s or other advanced degree in accounting or finance 6+ years of related industry experience An interest in capital markets Familiarity with the institutional investment community, including investment styles and engagement practices for hedge funds and mutual funds Be part of something big. #PIQ We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
