Job Description

Are you passionate about recruiting and have a strong background in recruiting? As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Legal Recruiter to develop and maintain a strong pipeline.

For over 20 years, we’ve championed the rights of those who suffer discrimination, injustice, inequality, and retaliation in the workplace. We represent individuals from across the country and have built a national practice on core principles of excellence, ethics, and the use of leading-edge technologies. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Recruiter to lead our hiring initiatives. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and securing top candidates for all open positions while establishing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of talent databases, resources and select universities to build a long-term pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to attract top candidates for all open positions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with law schools, student organizations, community organizations and social media to create a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination scheduling, and offer negotiations.
  • Represent the firm at on-campus recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance the firm's presence in the legal community through partnerships, sponsorships, and outreach programs.
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments to ensure alignment with the firm’s culture and legal practice needs.
  • Track recruitment metrics, trends, and best practices to continuously improve hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership to identify hiring needs and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate job descriptions.
  • Design and develop recruiting materials for candidates, schools and other talent resource pipelines such as pamphlets and candidate guides.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in legal recruiting or law firm administration.
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably within a legal or professional services setting.
  • Strong knowledge of law school recruitment cycles and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and law school representatives.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (interviewing, phone screening and reference checking, etc.)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

Why Join Us?

  • Be a key player in shaping the future talent of a respected law firm.
  • Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values professional growth.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to build strong university partnerships and influence recruitment strategy.
  • If you are a motivated recruiter with a passion for legal talent acquisition and relationship-building, we would love to hear from you!
