OPPORTUNITY | Paralegal/Legal Secretary
Litchfield Cavo has 23 offices nationwide, and is quickly expanding. Our Kansas City office seeks a well-rounded, highly-motivated, experienced Paralegal/Legal Secretary to support our practicing litigation defense attorneys. Experience in insurance defense is a plus, but experience with billing and discovery is a must. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle a variety of law office responsibilities including all aspects of the discovery process with a forward-thinking firm, in an expanding office.
SKILLS and ABILITIES

· proven knowledge of electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in Missouri;
· excellent research and writing skills;
· work proactively, independently and as part of a team;
· ability to forecast and calendar court filings and docket deadlines;
· organize, prioritize and implement urgent tasks with strong attention to detail;
· provide excellent written and verbal communication;
· remain self-directed, self-motivated and effectively work under tight time constraints;
· ability to consistently create and deliver quality work products;
· demonstrate proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro); demonstrated efficiency navigating the internet;
· iManage experience a plus.
· a Paralegal Certificate is not required, but preferred.
