Job Description

Job Description

Job Description

  • We're very much looking for .NET Web Developers with experience using MVC, C#, SQL Server, RESTful APIs. Other HTML/CSS/JavaScript Web Development experience is a big plus. We occasionally dabble in Windows Desktop application development, but that is not a primary focus.
  • We are a Microsoft Shop and will remain a Microsoft-centric development team, so candidates focused on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Java, etc) will not be a good fit.
  • Also, we are not focused on Azure Cloud development, due to some business requirements. This could change in the future, but Windows Server hosted Web applications are our current focus and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
  • This role does not have to be local to Louisville, but there will be some required times in Louisville:
  • Initial training and orientation will occur at the Corporate office for the initial two weeks of employment
  • We have an annual Leadership Conference, and the employee will be expected to be in town during that week, typically sometime in July each year
  • We have an annual Friday Christmas Party in early (first two weeks) of December and it is expected the employee will attend this if at all possible
  • We have 40 locations around the country and occasional travel to these locations may be required (initially, the likelihood would be once or twice per year).
  • If travel is a plus to the candidate, then there could be more opportunities once they've settled into the role. We generally won't require that in this position, though.
  • Our team and responsibilities are growing and there are opportunities, but not requirements, to learn/exercise other skills, such as Network Administration, PowerShell Automation, Azure Active Directory & Office 365/Exchange Online management.

Last Position initial requirements:
