Purposeful Education: Inspire a learning environment where academic rigor, creativity, and character development work together to prepare students for college, for life, and for a lifetime of service to others.

Faith and Culture: Foster a culture where the Catholic faith shapes the community’s values and relationships, while welcoming and engaging all who seek to be part of the Gibbons family.

Leadership and Collaboration

Visionary Leadership: Inspire teachers and students with clarity of purpose, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Strategic Partnership: Work collaboratively with the Head of School and Leadership Team to implement strategic initiatives that advance the school’s mission and long-term vision.

Faculty Recruitment and Development

Mission-Aligned Hiring: Recruit and retain outstanding educators who are passionate about teaching, grounded in the school’s values, and committed to the growth of young people.

Professional Growth: Foster a culture of ongoing professional learning, mentorship, and collaboration among faculty and staff.

Empowerment and Recognition: Ensure that teachers are supported, valued, and trusted — with regular feedback, opportunities for leadership, and recognition of their contributions.

School Culture and Environment

Welcoming Community: Nurture a positive and inclusive school climate marked by respect, joy, and high expectations for all.

Student Formation: Ensure that every student is challenged academically, supported personally, and inspired to grow in character and purpose.

Collaborative Spirit: Encourage cross-departmental collaboration, interdisciplinary innovation, and shared problem-solving.

Operational and Strategic Leadership

Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring a smooth, mission-aligned experience for students, families, and faculty.

Responsive Communication: Maintain open and timely communication with all stakeholders — modeling transparency, empathy, and professionalism.

Strategic Alignment: Provide leadership in implementing school-supported initiatives, guiding teams toward measurable goals that reflect both excellence and mission.

Program Evaluation: Use assessment and data thoughtfully to inform decisions, improve programs, and sustain academic rigor.

Policy and Stewardship

Policy Oversight: Support the review and refinement of policies, procedures, and budgets to ensure they align with mission and priorities.

Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with diocesan, accreditation, and state requirements with integrity and attention to detail.

Educational Excellence

Instructional Leadership: Champion effective teaching and learning practices that meet diverse student needs and reflect the best of Catholic college-preparatory education.

High Standards: Model and uphold high expectations for faculty and students, balancing accountability with care.

Innovation and Technology: Promote the creative and responsible integration of technology to enhance student learning and engagement.

Ambassador for the School: Represent Cardinal Gibbons with warmth and professionalism at admissions events, parent gatherings, and community activities.

Parent Partnership: Build strong relationships with parents as partners in their children’s education and formation.
