Job Description

I'm recruiting a Project Engineer to work for an established and successful manufacturing company in Milford, CT. The industry is aerospace and defense component manufacturing and other products.

This is a full time, direct hire position with a great benefits package!

Responsibilities:

• The Project Engineer is a key role in supporting engineering operations by combining technical expertise with project leadership.
• This is a hands-on role that ensures engineering projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and cost objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• The Project Engineer serves as a key point of contact, coordinating efforts between design, manufacturing, and other functional areas to drive successful project execution.
• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
• Support manufacturing and production teams by providing engineering guidance and troubleshooting issues.
• Help coordinate workflow to meet project milestones and customer requirements.
• Participate in the testing and validation of engineering designs and process improvements.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• BS Degree
• 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience in a Stamping manufacturing environment a must
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on tasks as needed.
