The location of this position is in Westminster, SC.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading quality assurance and quality control initiatives in our manufacturing facility. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with industry standards and implementing best practices for continuous improvement. This position requires effective leadership skills, a deep understanding of quality management principles, and the ability to analyze data to inform decision-making. The Quality Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, develop corrective actions, and ensure that products meet rigorous quality standards. Strong communication skills and the capability to lead teams in achieving excellence are key components of this role. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with a proven track record in quality management within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop and implement quality management systems to meet industry standards.
    • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Process Improvement: Utilize Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
    • Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all manufacturing operations.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of quality processes and audit reports.
    • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on quality procedures and best practices.
    • Foster a mindset of quality throughout the organization through effective communication and training.
    • Customer Focus: Respond to customer quality issues, preparing reports as needed to address concerns.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and ensure product quality meets expectations.

Experience & Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector.
    • Experience with Asian automotive market (Honda, Toyota or Hyundai)
    • Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proven track record in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proficient in quality management software and statistical analysis tools.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with Asian automotive market (Honda, Toyota or Hyundai)
