Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales and Executive Assistant to support our sales team and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with customers on purchase order (PO) management, coordinating sales efforts, and providing high-level administrative support. Experience with TJX (TJ Maxx) or similar retail environments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with managing customer accounts, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment.

  • Provide administrative support to executives, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.

  • Communicate directly with customers to manage order inquiries, track PO status, and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., warehouse, shipping, and finance) to ensure smooth processing of customer orders.

  • Maintain accurate records of all orders and transactions, ensuring timely updates to internal systems.

  • Assist with sales presentations, product research, and preparing documents for client meetings.

  • Manage the scheduling and logistics for sales-related events, trade shows, or client visits.

  • Provide general administrative support to the executive team, including managing calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports.

  • Handle customer service inquiries and complaints, ensuring quick resolutions to maintain positive customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales or executive assistant role, with experience in managing customer purchase orders and supporting sales teams.

  • Retail Experience : Prior experience with TJX (TJ Maxx) or similar retail brands is a strong plus.

  • Skills : Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

  • Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with order management systems or CRM tools is a plus.

  • Customer Focused : Strong interpersonal skills and experience handling customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
