Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking experienced Screen Press Operators to join our production team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and efficiency of our screen printing operations. The Screen Press Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of automatic and/or manual screen printing presses to produce high-quality prints on garments and other materials.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the screen printing process, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent quality while meeting production goals. You should be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

What is Expected From You:
  • Review production work orders for print specs and confirm garment details, placement, and ink requirements
  • Set up screens, squeegees, flood bars, inks, and flash units according to job specifications
  • Accurately register screens and perform test prints for approval before production begins
  • Operate automatic and/or manual screen printing presses efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Monitor print quality throughout the run and make on-the-fly adjustments to ensure consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness of the press and surrounding workstation throughout and after each job
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment to prevent downtime
  • Assist with screen reclamation, burning, and preparation when needed
  • Communicate clearly with production staff and management regarding job status or issues
  • Accurately record completed quantities and log production data as needed
  • Contribute to a team-oriented, collaborative production environment
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and contribute to a safe and organized workspace
  • Stay current on printing techniques, inks, tools, and technology in the industry
  • Other related duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating screen printing presses in a production environment
  • Experience with Plastisol and water-based inks , additives, and specialty printing techniques
  • Strong registration skills and understanding of multicolor setups (4-color process, spot color, etc.)
  • Familiarity with screen preparation including coating, burning, taping, and reclaiming
  • Excellent visual acuity and attention to detail
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures, production flows, and basic troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced, often warm environment
  • Ability to read and understand production orders, instructions, and ink/pantone color codes
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and punctual, reliable attendance
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to adapt to shifting schedules and demands based on production needs
  • Basic computer and record-keeping skills are a plus
