Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Lead in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and maintain order. Your role involves interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and responding calmly to incidents as they arise. This position requires carrying a firearm and a valid armed guard card/license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following company and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter of the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the facility to help to deter potential issues and report unusual activity.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while enforcing access control policies and procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific operations and procedures relevant to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
