  • Compile bid packages with all required documentation and ensure timely submission
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and job walk-throughs
  • Track estimating performance metrics, bid results, and historical cost data
  • Recommend value engineering options where appropriate
  • Collaborate with project management, preconstruction, and operations teams to align estimating assumptions with field realities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of commercial electrical estimating experience
  • At least 2 years managing or mentoring an estimating team
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience with detailed takeoffs and bid preparation
  • Accubid (ConEst) experience strongly preferred; Bluebeam experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $140,000 – $175,000, depending on experience
  • Annual profit-sharing program based on company performance
  • Flexible hours aligned with field schedules
  • Long-term growth and leadership opportunities within a stable, high-performing estimating team

This is a rare opportunity to lead a talented estimating team while directly shaping preconstruction strategy on high-profile commercial projects. The role offers both professional growth and a competitive compensation package for a top-tier electrical estimator.
