Job Overview:

B&H is looking for an experienced Salesforce Software Developer to join our CRM engineering team.

We are seeking someone who can take ownership of all development requests. You will work alongside our

Salesforce Administrators & offshore Salesforce Development team to collaborate on specifications based

on stakeholder requirements and deliver the solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

Technically excellent across all software disciplines, including algorithms, data structures, architecture, and

design.

Collaborating with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations

(security, scalability, limits).

Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in

order to support business requirements.

Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and

Lightning Web Components.

Work closely with middleware development team on Webservices & External Objects.

Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization, such as ETL,

Genesys, Azure.

DevOps management, performing code review, code coverage, unit & regression test automation, validating

deployment packages.

System uptime support, etiquette monitoring & alerts, support availability after business hours.

Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills at all levels, application, platform, system integrations.

Follow software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and

high-quality software.

Additional Responsibilities:

Collaborating with IS / Developers from other systems to integrate centralized solutions for the business

Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

· Certified Salesforce Platform Developer

· Other relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified

Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I,

· 7+ years of professional experience in Salesforce design & software development.

· Deep understanding of software architecture principles and practices, including microservices,

serverless architectures, and cloud-native design.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Salesforce Technical Expert:

· Extensive experience with Salesforce platform and its suite of products Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,

Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Digital Channels (Phone, Email, Web Chat, SMS, Video), Omni

Channel, Voice.

· Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, integration patterns, and best

practices for customization and development.

· Experience with building Low Code/No Code applications on Salesforce platform.

· Experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC),

SOQL, SOSL, Analytics and other Salesforce technologies.

· Experience with Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, Custom Metadata Types and

Components, strong grasp of Salesforce's Lightning Design System for UI/UX.

· Experience with Salesforce data tools such as Workbench, Data Loader.

· Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing

rules.

· Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and third-

party tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Tableau, Bazaarevoice).

· Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, Salesforce Connect, and External Objects.

Other Technical Proficiencies:

· Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud

architecture and services.

· Expertise in database design and management, including both SQL and NoSQL databases, designing

custom objects, custom fields.

· Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker,

orchestration with Kubernetes).

· Experience with system integration, API design, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

· Experience with configuring Java Application Servers (Apache, JBoss, WebLogic).

· Experience with Web development stacks (Java / J2EE, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML & CSS, Angular JS,

Struts).

· Practical experience with Source Code management tools like, Git, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Code,

IntelliJ.

· Experience with Authentication frameworks (LDAP, AD, OAuth)

· Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Splunk.

· Participate in an agile team, using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo)

· Familiar with Telecom integrations (Genesys Cloud) a plus.
