About the Job:

Our organization is seeking a Client Services Manager who can significantly impact client deliverables and consulting projects. Ideally, the candidate will possess a solid grasp of digital marketing principles, particularly SEO practices, and understand how these elements align with broader business goals. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are highly organized, quick learners, and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Client Service Managers are expected to lead strategies and initiatives, manage supporting resources, and collaborate effectively with clients and team members to deliver impactful results. The role involves managing a client portfolio, internal resources, and third-party vendors to execute a variety of projects. This role will also coach client service analysts and identify process enhancements and workflows that can unlock new avenues for efficiency and scalability within the client services team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact and partner for client engagements, which includes, but is not limited to, proactive communications, building trust, defining action plans, and delegating and managing the roster of resources for the client.
  • Ensure all client deliverables are completed on time and accomplish business objectives.
  • Work with the client to define KPIs and OKRs and build reports to provide visibility on performance progress.
  • Organize and schedule regular check-ins with clients, monthly performance reports, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Manage internal stakeholders within the engagement to complete deliverables, meet project deadlines, and maintain client health & satisfaction.
  • Utilize project management tools to monitor progress on initiatives and tasks, build knowledge libraries, and provide comprehensive client updates to the greater organization.
  • Guide and mentor client services analysts to enhance SEO knowledge and client management skills.
  • Candidates are expected to have a foundational understanding of SEO and content marketing.
  • Ability to communicate digital marketing strategies and how they can impact a business
  • The ideal candidate will lead client projects, coordinating with internal and external resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Set clear expectations, track performance, and provide regular feedback for client service analysts to drive success.
  • Identify inefficiencies and collaborate with other teams to implement improvements in the client services workflow.
  • Keep clients informed about trends and developments in the SEO industry.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field
  • Advanced skills with office tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, and various project management tools.
  • 5+ years in client management / digital marketing
  • 3+ years experience in search engine marketing
  • A strong understanding of search engine optimization and its role in business growth
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Strong communication skills by email, phone, and video conferences
  • Fluent English language, both written and verbal communication
  • Proactive nature and attention to detail
