As a Special Assets Intern , you will assist the SAG team with various tasks, which will include reviewing financial statements, preparing and updating department tracking reports and spreadsheets, working with the credit analysts on quarterly management presentations, and assisting on special projects. This is a full-time in-person opportunity at our Grand Rapids – East Beltline office.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with the gathering and uploading of financial documentation.
• Create and extract data for financial spreadsheets and reporting.
• Monitor the value of assets in order to identify trends in the market and changes in economic conditions.
• Compile and review information for loans and work with officers on loan approvals.
• Update department tracking reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a degree in economics, finance, or a business-related field.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Eagerness to Learn.
• Banking, finance, and accounting knowledge preferred.
