Your Role

As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling. Collaborating with a dedicated treatment team, you will help identify and meet the clinical needs of your patients, ensuring their overall well-being.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

Curious about how you’ll make a positive impact? Here are some of your essential functions:

• Conduct intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork with patients.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Create individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
• Identify and address clinical/case management needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
• Maintain at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
• Act in the best interests of the program and protect company data.

Essential Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certification: Candidates must hold an active CADC-II. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Experience Required: Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred, but not mandatory.
