Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are sought for a full-time contract role within a K-12 school setting in New Orleans, LA. This position offers the opportunity to provide valuable teletherapy services to students in Jefferson Parish, working Monday through Friday in alignment with the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services using teletherapy platforms to support student communication development.
  • Manage caseloads with appropriate documentation and individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student outcomes.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and ongoing professional development as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active Louisiana state license and fully licensed in the candidates state of residence.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Minimum of three years experience working in Louisiana school settings.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy techniques and technology.
  • Successful completion of a technical screening.
  • One professional reference on file.

Work Schedule and Duration:

  • Contract runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
  • Full-time hours: 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
