Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide teletherapy services for K-12 students within a Louisiana school setting. This contract assignment runs through the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and continuing until late May 2026. The role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology support primarily via teletherapy methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct teletherapy sessions for students in grades K-12 to address speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with school goals and regulations.
• Collaborate remotely with educational staff and families to monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation according to state and school standards.
• Participate in relevant meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Location:

• Services are provided remotely to schools based in Harvey, LA, and the wider New Orleans area within Jefferson Parish.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state license in Louisiana and fully licensed in candidates residing state.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) required.
• Minimum of three years of experience working as an SLP in school settings.
• Proven experience delivering teletherapy services.
• Successful completion of a technical skills screening.
• At least one professional reference.
• Candidates must be compliant with all licensure and credentialing requirements prior to placement.

This contract position offers a structured schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is included daily.
