Company: US3270 Sygma Kansas City (The Sygma Network, Inc) Zip Code: 64153 JOB SUMMARY: Join our team as a Tractor-Trailer Driver, where you will play a vital role in efficiently delivering products to our valued customers. You will safely transport products from our warehouse to various locations, adhering to customer invoices and company standards. Responsibilities: Safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate loading and unloading according to specifications. Complete all necessary paperwork in compliance with company and government regulations, including DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports. Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining proper temperatures in the delivery vehicle. Follow established work methods and promptly report any unsafe conditions to management. Effectively operate and maintain all assigned equipment, including pallets, load bars, SLS units, and personal protective gear. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through exceptional service and clear communication. Communicate any route deviations, loading challenges, or product issues to the management team. Work your scheduled hours, displaying flexibility as needed to meet customer demands and maintain regular attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred; completion of a driving school may substitute for education requirements. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required and must be insurable to operate a vehicle. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe lifting practices. Proficient in driving over long distances and adapting to varying weather and terrain conditions. Ability to communicate effectively and solve problems while delivering products. Adept at driving tractor-trailer units and using on-board systems. Competent in basic math functions and able to organize work independently. Physical Demands: Requires sitting, speaking, and hearing regularly; may involve lifting products of up to 50 pounds by hand and using a hand cart for heavier loads. Climbing in and out of a tractor and trailer is essential. Vision abilities must accommodate close and far distances, color differentiation, and depth perception. Work Environment: Exposure to various weather conditions and potential mechanical hazards while working in a dynamic environment. Ability to work an overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays as necessary to meet customer needs. Moderate noise levels are typical in the work setting.
