Belle Haven Investments, based in Rye Brook, NY, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented recent college graduate to join our team as a Trading Operations Associate. As a key member of the Trading Operations Team, you will play a vital role in supporting critical daily trade processes, data management, and client reporting. This position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in the full trading and settlement life cycle with a focus on fixed income securities, while learning about the regulatory and operational intricacies that drive the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process trade and order entries for fixed income securities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations..
  • Manage regulatory trade reporting for fixed income products via TRACE and MSRB.
  • Address operational inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Investigate trade discrepancies, collaborating with brokers and custodians to ensure proper settlement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the trading and settlement life cycle for fixed income securities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal teams including Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Compliance.
  • Escalate trade issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Support team efforts for ad hoc projects and requests.
  • Run daily trade reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy of trade reporting and the Firm's books and records.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business or finance-related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proactive and accountable approach.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred, or will need to obtain within the first year of employment,
