Shift:
4 × 10-hour shifts | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Rotating weekday off
On-call required: approximately every 10th weekend and 2 weekday nights every 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
\tPrepare patients pre-procedure and monitor patients intra- and post-procedure
\tAdminister medications, including moderate sedation, per physician orders and protocols
\tMonitor hemodynamic status and respond to emergencies during procedures
\tMaintain sterile technique and assist physicians during IR procedures
\tDocument patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
\tParticipate in on-call coverage for emergent and after-hours procedures
\tRequired Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
\tMinimum of 1–2 years of Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or Critical Care experience
\tAbility to take weekday and weekend call as scheduled
\tCurrent Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
\tACLS (AHA)
\tPreferred Qualifications:
Prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience
\tExperience with moderate sedation, Level 1 Trauma Experience
\tCritical care or procedural nursing background
\t Distance Requirement:
60 miles rule applied
