\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work as a registered nurse on a 34-bed medical surgical neurology unit with maximum capacity of 43 patients
\n• Patient ratios of 5:1
\n• Unit serves as general medical surgical floor and stroke/neurology designated unit
\n• Work with remote telemetry monitoring equipment
\n• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
\n• Required certification: BLS
\n• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke certification and ACLS
\n• Dress code requires navy scrubs
\n• Work alongside charge nurse, multiple RNs, nursing techs, and unit secretary
\n• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
\n• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
\n• Ideal candidate should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
