LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.

• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Flu Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Hours: 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee

Minimum Experience

• 1 year required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required, Epic

Patient Population

• Adults to geriatrics

Required Certifications

• BLS
• NIH / NIHSS

Work Setting & Clinical Requirements

• All potential MS, MS Tele, and PCU diagnoses
• Floating required to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU units within the hospital
• Epic required
• Pyxis
• SBAR

Ratios

• PCU: 1:4–5
• MS / MS Tele: 1:5–6

Schedule Requirements

• RTO: Max 7 days
• Weekends: Every other weekend (approx. 6 weekends per 13-week contract)
• Call: None
• Floating: Required

Holiday Requirements

Travelers must work holidays based on the assignment dates:

• If 1 major holiday falls → must work 1
• If 2 fall → must work both
• If 3 fall → must work two

Major Holidays

• New Year’s Eve & Day – Dec 31 & Jan 1
• Spring Break: April 6–12 ( No RTO )
• Memorial Day – May 26
• Independence Day – July 4
• Labor Day – Sept 1
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday – Nov 27 & Nov 28
• Christmas Eve & Day – Dec 24 & Dec 25

• Accepted at same rate

• Based on contract length:
  • 8 hours for 8-week assignment
  • 19 hours for 19-week assignment

• Feeding tube care and management

Medications

• Heparin protocols
• Manage cardiac drips – no titration

• Titrate vasoactive drips

Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry – on-unit monitoring
• Telemetry – remote monitoring
• Use of Rapid Response / Code teams

Professional Skills

• Isolation precautions
• Wound care / Wound vac

Endocrine / Metabolic

• IV insulin protocols
• Titration of insulin drips

Genitourinary / Renal

• Renal failure

Plastics
