Our worldwide financial services client is seeking a UX Designer to join their team as a full time employee based out of Hamilton Township, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with UX design including FIGMA and Sketch as well as working in a fast paced financial services environment previously. This person will work on both internal and external UX design for applications and websites. We are looking for someone who has created seamless and efficient user journeys as well.
More specifically you will perform interaction design which means working with the business and project managers to develop interactive design solutions. This team also performs Wireframing and Prototyping: Working with BAs and business leads to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma. This person will also ensure designs are aligned with user needs as well as business goals in the form of written requirements. You will also focus on visual design specifically applying visual design principles to create usable and cohesive user interfaces across various platforms for different user groups. This team works in an Agile methodology and focuses on user research as well. You will also work off of a Kanban Board in this role for tracking and contributing design stories, and there is a ton of collaboration with various teams in this role. Lastly, we are seeking a true “Voice of the User” to be an outspoken advocate for the team’s design decisions and the UX process. Be willing to push back against poor design direction and resist serving as a design “order taker.” And, most importantly, be willing to enthusiastically represent the “voice of the user” to teammates, partners and stakeholders.
