Key job responsibilities Own the development of software end-to-end, from requirements gathering with stakeholders to managing ongoing operations of the software at scale. Have fun and create great software! BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Final semester/trimester of a university undergraduate/postgraduate degree, or completed studies within the past 24 months. Able to start within 3 months. Enrolled/Completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field. Strong object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java), preferably on UNIX or Linux. Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages is a plus. Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases. Experience in optimization mathematics (linear and nonlinear programming). Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively. Comfortable dealing with ambiguous problems; ability to think abstractly. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience developing in a Linux environment. Experience developing software on AWS platforms. Note: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
